- For the Church: that we may be a source of living water for all who thirst for meaning and purpose in their lives,
We pray to the Lord.
- For the grace of courage: that we go forth from all that is familiar to new places and relationships into which God leads us,
We pray to the Lord.
- For an openness of heart: that our encounters with Christ may strengthen us, free us from fear and embolden us to share the joy we have found in knowing Christ,
We pray to the Lord.
- For a greater openness to the Word of God: that we may take God’s Word to heart; ponder it; and draw life from it as priests, deacons, religious, married or single persons,
We pray to the Lord.
- For the courage to recognize and admit our sinfulness: that like the woman at the well, we may honestly face our life and ask for help in changing our direction,
We pray to the Lord.
- For the suffering and ill: that they be refreshed with a wellspring of healing and comfort. Let us pray especially for those whose names have been placed on our altar,
We pray to the Lord.
