  1. For the Church: may we be signs of God’s compassionate care for all who are marginalized or whose dignity is devalued

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For personal transformation: may we surrender to Christ all that is sinful, selfish or alienating in our lives as priests, deacons, religious, married or single persons

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For greater compassion: may we be aware of the outcast, the isolated, the sinner and welcome them within our faith community

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For all who work in the medical field and research: may God guide their efforts in finding new means to fight disease, promote life and be respected as people of conscience

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For all married couples and families: may God continue to deepen their love and help their relationship give witness to God’s loving presence in their community and the world

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For the ill: may God heal them in body, mind, soul and spirit. Let us pray especially for those whose names have been placed on our altar.

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For all who have died: may they see the Lord who made them clean.
