1. For the Church: may we be attentive to the creative work of the Spirit so
that many may encounter Christ, as we live our vocations as single,
married, religious, deacons and priests
We pray to the Lord.
2. For reconciliation: may God help us let go of hurts and renew
relationships within families, in communities and in workplaces
We pray to the Lord.
3. For discernment: may the Holy Spirit remind us of all that Jesus taught
and help us apply it in our lives and to the challenges of our society
We pray to the Lord.
4. For all doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals: may they be
permitted to function according to their conscience and may the Spirit lead
them
We pray to the Lord.
5. For all who are ill: may the Holy Spirit heal them. Let us pray especially
for those whose names have been placed on our altar.
We pray to the Lord.
6. For all who have died: may the Holy Spirit guide them home.
