- For the Church: may we grow in our awareness that Christ is in us and see God’s hand in the people and events in our lives as we live our vocations as single, married, religious, deacons and priests

- For government and business leaders: may God inspire them to develop policies to protect the health and well-being of the human family as they promote the renewal of the economy
We pray to the Lord.
- For the renewal of God’s Spirit in our hearts: may God stir up into a flame the gift of the Spirit so we may build up the Body of Christ and bring forth God’s reign in the world
We pray to the Lord.
- For all doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals: may they be permitted to function according to their conscience and may the Holy Spirit protect them as they confront evil and work to ease human suffering
We pray to the Lord.
- For all who are ill and those with corona virus: may God’s healing Spirit ease their suffering, give them strength and restore them to wholeness. Let us pray especially for those whose names have been placed on our altar.
