- For the Church: may we boldly profess Jesus as Lord and help others to come to know and follow him as we live our vocations as single, married, religious, deacons and priests

- For all who follow Jesus: may Christ unite us in witnessing to the Gospel in better understanding and acceptance of each other’s traditions and in greater cooperation in serving God

- For all who are beginning a new academic year: may students and teachers learn together as they grow in wisdom and love and may God protect them from harm and disease

- For all doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals: may they be permitted to function according to their conscience and may God give them strength of spirit

- For all who are ill and those with Covid-19: may God heal all who are ill. Let us pray especially for those whose names have been placed on our altar.
