Archdiocese-of-Toronto announcement about the new Archbishop of Toronto

  1. Our Big Hearts Building Fundraiser continues to grow to pay down the roof debt of $300,000. We need your creative ways to raise cash. Thank you to our anonymous donors. The current total is now $47,210.00! Please continue to give.

  2. A parishioner generously donated Religious Gift Items to our parish. Please visit our parish office weekdays to see Christian birthday and greeting cards for $1.00 each or religious pictures for $5.00 each. All proceeds are toward the Roof Fund.

  3.  Are you looking for a way to help the Church? We need your help. Please join our Team of Catechists to teach two sessions once a year to parents who will baptize their babies. Submit your application online at www.stphilipneri.ca in the Ministers’ Registration section. See bulletin.

  4. Are you new to our parish? Welcome! Please register at the parish office for a box of donation envelopes or register online at our parish website. Our pastor asks you to be registered to request a priest’s letter.

  5.  Our parish hosts a free Lenten Mini-Retreat with guest speaker: Br. Ignatius in English. On Saturday, March 30, Br. Ignatius shares on the San Damiano Cross starting at 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Coffee to be provided. Please call the office to register by March 28.

  6.  We are blessed to offer the 6-minute meditation 2018 Little Black Book Lenten Reflections again this year for $1.00 each. They are in both English and Spanish at the parish office.

  7. Our Lenten Food Drive is on! Please bring your generous donated cans or small package dry food to the St. Vincent de Paul wooden bin in the lobby. Please be aware of expiry dates.

  8.  The Lenten Stations of the Cross are every Friday during Lent. The Italian language is at 6:00 p.m.; Mass in English with Stations of the Cross is at 7:00 p.m.; and Spanish is at 8:00 p.m.
