The EDGE Youth group meets Friday, May 181 at 7:00 p.m. for grades 6-8 and LIFETEEN for grades 9-12 meet May 26. All youth are invited to join the fun, make new friendships and participate in outings of service towards your hours.
Our Warm Hearts, Warm Hands Special Boiler Fundraiser has grown to almost $12,500. Thank you for helping pay our $62,000 debt. As you donate, we can publish your name if you wish and your generous amount. Extra special thanks to the parishioners who give multiple times.
Last Friday’s wind storm tore our church roof off, and the CWL Bingo was canceled. The next Bingo will be in October.
The Knights of Columbus are selling raffle tickets for $5.00 each this weekend after masses in the lobby. Proceeds aid charities such as Arthritis Foundation, Para-Olympics and more. Raffle tickets are available in the parish office. This weekend they are also selling embroidered Roses for Life for a donation of $1 or more. Their next meeting is May 16 at 8:00 p.m.
The Finance Committee meets Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m.
We celebrate our parish Feast Day of St. Philip Neri on Wednesday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. with a Trilingual Mass followed by a reception in the parish hall. Please bring a dessert to share!
Cardinal Collins issued a Call to Action in advance of the June 7 Provincial election to promote Palliative Care, Conscience Rights for medical personnel and the protection of Faith. For those on the Cardinal’s email list, please check your emails. Next week’s bulletin will have more information.
