- EDGE Youth for grades 6-8 meets Fridays at 7:00 p.m. LIFETEEN for High School students next meet Saturday, March 10 at 5:00 p.m. All students are welcome!
- The Catholic Women’s League meets Monday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. It’s election night. All parish women are invited to attend and join a fun and active parish community.
- Coins for Life is our parish Lent Almsgiving project. Please collect small change in your plastic box. Teach and encourage your children as their help and prayers are vital to saving babies lives. We ask you to return them by Holy Week.
- Stations of the Cross are every Friday in Lent in our 3 languages. A weekly Friday night Mass in English is offered with the Stations of the Cross. Lenten events are posted in the bulletin and on the bulletin boards. The church is open daily for your personal Stations of the Cross. All are welcome to attend our Lenten services.
- We have a book sale! Bring the short stories of Michigan’s Bishop Ken Untener’s Lenten Little Black Book home. These simple 6 minute daily Scripture reflections in English or Spanish will help deepen your relationship with Christ this Lent. Or buy the yellow Adoration book in English or Italian for your Friday Adoration devotion. Each is $1.50 or buy both for $2.00 in the parish office.
- Lenten Missions: in English March 11-15 with Capuchin Provincial Minister Br. Henry Alva; and in Italiano with Don Francesco Armenti March 18-21. Please see posters or take a bulletin.
- Our parish hosts a Blood Drive tomorrow on Monday, March 5 starting at 3:00 p.m. Please book your appointment at blood.ca. We thank you for your Pro-Life gift of life.
- It’s ShareLife season again. Please read the testimonials in our parish bulletin to see how your money has blessed many souls, changed lives and families. The first collection is March 18. Thank you for your generosity.
- Secular Franciscans invite the parish community to join them March 18 at the 12:00 p.m. Mass for the Profession of two new lay vocations to the Franciscan way of life as a lay person living the Gospel in daily life.
- High School Men’s Retreat for grades 11 and 12 is March 17. The theme is “Find your strength in Christ.” Hosted by the Office of Vocations and will be at St. Augustine’s Seminary. Please see posters.
- Mother & Child is a new ministry of the Capuchin Franciscan Friars our parishioners are encouraged to embrace. Member mothers are entitled to participate in all club activities and to use the club’s baby store free of charge. No sales. No handouts. No obligations. No shame. $2 membership. Pass-it-Forward. First Getting to Know You Gathering is April 7 at 9:00 a.m.
- Our Warm Hearts, Warm Hands Special Boiler Fundraiser is growing. Thanks to the many parishioners who are giving over their weekly tithe. As you donate, we’ll publish your name if you wish and your generous amount.
