  1. EDGE Youth for grades 6-8 meets Fridays at 7:00 p.m. LIFETEEN for High School students next meet Saturday, March 10 at 5:00 p.m. All students are welcome!
  2. It’s ShareLife season again. Please read the testimonials in our parish bulletin to see how your money has blessed many souls, changed lives and families. The first collection is next week March 18. Thank you for your generosity.
  3. Coins for Life is our parish Lent Almsgiving project. Please collect small change in your plastic box. Teach and encourage your children as their help and prayers are vital to save babies and mothers’ lives. We ask you to return them by Holy Week.
  4. Stations of the Cross are every Friday in Lent in our 3 languages. A weekly Friday night Mass in English is offered with the Stations of the Cross. Lenten events are posted in the bulletin and on the bulletin boards. The church is open daily for your personal Stations of the Cross. All are welcome to attend our Lenten services.
  5. We have a book sale! Bring the short stories of Michigan’s Bishop Ken Untener’s Lenten Little Black Book home. These simple 6 minute daily Scripture reflections in English or Spanish will help deepen your relationship with Christ this Lent. Or buy the yellow Adoration book in English or Italian for your Friday Adoration devotion. Each is $1.50 or buy both for $2.00 in the parish office.
  6. Lenten Missions: in English March 11-15 with Capuchin Provincial Minister Br. Henry Alva sharing of God’s love and mercy; and in Italiano with Don Francesco Armenti March 18-21. Please see posters or take a bulletin.
  7. Our Warm Hearts, Warm Hands Special Boiler Fundraiser is growing. Thanks to the many parishioners who are giving over their weekly tithe. As you donate, we’ll publish your name if you wish and your generous amount. Extra special thanks to the parishioners who give multiple times.
  8. Secular Franciscans invite the parish community to join them March 18 at the 12:00 p.m. Mass for the Profession of two new lay vocations to the Franciscan way of life as a lay person living the Gospel in daily life.  Come meet them at the reception that follows.
  9. Sign-Up Sunday has been extended for Cardinal Collin’s Call for Conscience Campaign. Please sign up at the back of the church where you’ll find the letter to your MPP. Or stop by the office Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  10. Please save all your old electronics! Spring cleaning time is here. The Recycling your Electronics Community Collection fundraising event is coming next month from April 14 to 22 Earth Day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit our parish. Please see posters.
