- Our Big Hearts Building Fundraiser includes the building, boilers, and roofs! We need to continue collecting funds to pay down the debt of $300,000 (minus the insured amount TBA). We need your creative ways to raise cash. We still need your generous donations. Thank you for all you give and the special In Memoriam gifts! The current total is $34,319.00. Our Spanish Community will hosts a Dinner Dance Fundraiser on February 2. Please come!
- St. Pio monthly Mass is Monday, January 21 at 7:00 p.m. All are invited to honor St. Pio and request his prayers for your special intentions.
- Are you looking for a way to help evangelize the Church? Please come be of service to our Parish a few times a month for a few months! We need your help in evangelizing our children! Please join our Team of Catechists for R.C.I.C. or First Communion or Confirmation. Submit your application online at www.stphilipneri.ca in the Ministers’ Registration section or call the Parish office.
- The next session of the Looking Back music program takes place on Friday January 25 at 7:00 p.m. We’ll be playing the music of Elvis Presley, who would have celebrated his 84th birthday earlier this month. Hope you can join us.
- The C.W.L. hosts the annual Pasta Luncheon on Sunday, January 27 starting at 11:00 am. Pasta with meatballs, salad, bread, dessert & a beverage will be served. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and will be sold after Sunday morning Masses and at the office.
- Our Spanish speaking community is hosting a parish Dinner & Dance for the parish with a live band, El Parrandon, on Saturday, February 2 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are sold at $30.00 per person. All proceeds go to the Roof Fund. More info to come.
- Parishioners host the musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” this week at Michael Power/ St. Joseph Catholic Secondary Theatre, 105 Eringate Dr. Etobicoke, on January 24, 25 and 26. Tickets are $32 per adult or $20 for Seniors and students. Buy your tickets at the door. All are welcome to enjoy a night of laughter!
