- Ash Wednesday is March 1 this coming Wednesday. Please take a bulletin for all the special Mass times.
- Our parish monthly First Friday Mass is March 3 at 7:30 pm followed by all night Eucharistic Adoration until 7:30 am.
- CWL meets March 6 for the annual Lenten Mass at 7:00 pm and monthly meeting.
- Parish Council meets March 8 at 7:30 pm. We are seeking volunteers to serve on the Council. Please call the office if you wish to assist our parish in an on-going capacity.
- Little Souls Prayer Group meets March 10 at 7:00 pm. All are invited to discover Carmelite spirituality.
- Our parish Lenten Works of Mercy for Life is our on-going Coins for Life boxes and a Blood Drive on Monday, March 13. Please mark your calendars and take a bulletin for more info.
- We are in need of trustworthy and dependable volunteers to assist in the following: Share-life Inter-Faith Committee, Refugee Welcoming Committee and as a catechist with RCIC. Please call the office to volunteer.
- We have tickets on sale in the parish office for the ongoing Knights of Columbus raffle and last chance for Lift Jesus Higher Rally this coming Saturday in downtown.
- Now that euthanasia/assisted suicide is legal in Canada, doctors in Ontario are being forced to help arrange for the killing of their patients. If your family doctor or surgeon objects to providing a referral for assisted suicide/euthanasia, they could be fined, disciplined or even removed from their practice. Many may be forced to retire or move outside of the province if the provincial government does not recognize their freedom of conscience. Please visit www.CanadiansforConscience.ca to learn more, join the “Call for Conscience” and write directly to your Member of Provincial Parliament asking them to protect conscience rights.We have a prepared letter which only needs your signature and email.
