- Our St. Philip Neri Children’s Summer Day Camp is finally here. Please pray for the children to enjoy a fun Christian camp! Everyone is welcome to our Parish Potluck Celebration on Wednesday, August 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Come, see the children as they entertain us! Bring a dish!
- Our Big Hearts Building Fundraiser has been expanded to include the boiler and wind and rain storm damaged rectory and church roofs! We need to continue collecting funds to pay down the debt which is now $300,000 (minus the insured amount TBA). We need your creative ways to raise cash to pay off this building debt. We received 3 anonymous donations for $58.00 with a grand total of $5,450.00!
- Calling all music fans! Looking Back is a music request program where people ask for their favorite songs and listen to CDs in a group setting, sharing the memories they bring back. We’ll play any song request from any year. Call the office with your theme or general song request. Check the website or see the posters to make your request and we’ll be ready to get together on August 24, September 14 at 7:00 p.m.
- Calling all who respect life, our parish hosts a Summer Blood Drive for the Red Cross on Friday August 31 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They are in desperate need for blood donations in time for Labor Day weekend. Please register yourself to save a life at www.blood.ca.
- St. Padre Pio’s First Class Relics visit our parish September 18 & 19 on the only Canadian stop. Celebration Mass with Bishop John Boissonneau is Tuesday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. as hosted by the St. Pio Foundation. Please save the dates. Would you like to volunteer and assist our pastor in hosting these relics? Call the office.
