  1. Our Big Hearts Building Fundraiser continues to grow to pay down the roof debt of $300,000. Thank you for your creative ways in raising cash. This week’s total anonymous donations of $1,525.00 make the current total: $74,268.00!! Thanks to your generosity, we can pay our loans. Please continue to give.
  1. Thank you to all who made our St. Francis Feast Days a success. Our thanks to the Capuchin Brothers, Br. Alan for his presentation on St. Francis and the Sultan and to St. Felix Secular Fraternity for providing the refreshments. Do you feel called to live in St. Francis’ footsteps in your daily life?   1. The Annual LifeChain is today, October 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. We silently pray for 1 hour once a year in support of the Gift of Life! Please join us in this prayer vigil at Jane and Wilson. Posters are provided.
  1. The CWL meets Monday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. and hosts BINGO NIGHT on October 18 at 7:00 p.m. Buy your BINGO tickets at the office.
  1. The Parish Council meets Wednesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m.
  1. Capuchin Day of Discernment is on Saturday, October 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for men 18 to 40 years of age. Come, discover living as a Franciscan Capuchin in the Service of God. Please call the office.
  1. The Knights of Columbus meet Wednesday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. Men of God come be of service to our pastor and our parish!
  1. The Finance Council meets Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m.
  1. St. Vincent de Paul Society asks you please bring your canned meats and food for our neighbors this week. This is the last chance to be a blessing to our neighbors, as Thanksgiving is next week!
  1. Please note: red candles will only be sold from the Usher’s Room in the lobby before or after scheduled Masses. None are to be kept in the sacristy nor sold from the sacristy. Candles are also sold in the Thrift Shop and the parish office. Thank you for your cooperation.
