Prayers of the Faithful Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord January 14 2018

  1. For migrants and refugees: may God help them establish new lives and experience justice and respect in their new homeland

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For the Church: may we introduce others to Christ through virtuous lives, loving deeds and truthful words

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For the transformation of our attitudes: may we recognize our bodies as Temples of the Holy Spirit and the sacred gift of our sexuality

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For all discerning, their life’s calling: may each answer “speak Lord, your servant is listening” to joyfully share their gifts and talents as priests, deacons, religious, married or single people

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For the healing of the human family: may the Spirit of God heal the wounds of prejudice and racism to build communities of trust and justice

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For the ill: may they find comfort and kindness. Let us pray especially for those whose names have been placed on our altar.

We pray to the Lord.

  1. For all who have died: may they perceive God’s presence. We pray especially for Angela Colucci, Giuseppe Viola, Fr. Gregory Haddock, Fr. Robert William Crooker, Guise Nguyen Tan Thuong, Anna Ngo  thi Te, Stefanie Romano, Annunziata Monteleone, Roberto Tiangco, Carmelina Calabro, Gioakim Nguyên đình Nghỉnh, Ông bà Giá, Ông bà Sửu, Sibilia Pesce, Rosa Caparrotta, Gregorio, Giovanni & Palma Profiti
