Totus Tuus is Latin for “Totally Yours” as envisioned by St. Pope John Paul II.
Totus Tuus is a summer catechetical program for Catholic youth in the Archdiocese of Toronto. The program offers a one-week summer camp at St. Philip Neri Parish looking for youth programming during the summer week of July 10-15, 2016. It also offers a three-month missionary program for post-secondary students who act as facilitator Missionaries for the summer camp.
The Totus Tuus Summer Camp is broken down into two distinct age groups:
1) The Summer Day Camp – is designed for students in grades 1-6. It runs daily Monday, July 11 – Friday, July 15 from 8:45am until 2:30pm with the Missionaries. Our parish offers extended care for enrolled students from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The program helps children learn more about the Catholic faith in a fun-filled environment. This day camp is facilitated by our Youth Minister Frank Capisciolto on behalf of our pastor, Fr. Paul Duplessie, OFM Cap.
2) The Summer Teen Program – is designed for students in grades 7-12 who are seeking to deepen their faith. This program runs Sunday, July 11 – Thursday, July 15 from 6:45pm until 9:00pm and ends with a Summer Celebration. This Teen Camp is facilitated by the Missionaries and our Youth Minister Frank Capisciolto on behalf of our pastor, Fr. Paul Duplessie, OFM Cap.
“We are in need of Adults to help supervise before and after school care; please call as soon as possible to submit your police background check. We are also looking for Teens in Gr. 11 or 12. Earn your Service Hours while having fun! Arts & crafts, skits, music, team leaders needed. Please call parish office by Tuesday, May 24.”
