Announcements for the week of December 10 2017

  1. Parish Youth Ministry: EDGE meets this Friday at 7:00 p.m. for grades 6-8. LifeTeen for all in high school meets Saturday, December 16 at 5:00 pm. Come have fun and discover our faith!
  2. Advent is here! It’s not too late to prepare for our Lord’s birth and reflect on the spirituality of this holy season for 6 minutes a day meditating on the Little Blue Book. Spend some quiet time with the Lord and with your children. Books are available in English or Spanish for $1.50 each and are in the office.
  3. The new 2018 Sunday Missals are for sale at the parish office for $6.00 each. Meditate on the Sunday readings during the week before Mass. Help your children learn how to read and reflect on God’s Word.
  4. Remember the good work with the poor that Chalice does around the world. Please support the missions. Make this a spiritual Christmas experience this year. Please take a catalog at the back of the church.
  5. This weekend December 9 and 10, “Holy Land Christian” made religious articles are on sale. All funds generated help employ our Christian brothers and sisters in Bethlehem. Please see them in the lobby.
  6. Because of Deacon Luigi’s health, the New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance is CANCELLED this year. Please keep Deacon Luigi and his family in your prayers.
  7. Our parish Advent Trilingual Penance Service is this coming Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. Let us prepare to receive our Savior.
  8. P. Guglielmo’s Funeral is here on Tuesday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. He will lie in wait here on Monday, December 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. when a Prayer Vigil will be held starting at 7:00 p.m.

A year later he created the Little Blue Book for Advent. We’re encouraged to deepen our relationship with Christ at 6 minutes a day with the Little Blue Book. Spend some quiet time with the Lord or with your children. Books are available in English or Spanish for $1.50 each and are in the office.

  4. Please remember that the 2017 Tax Receipt donations must be given to the church by December 31, 2107.  All donations given after January 1 will be counted in the 2018 Tax year.

  1. Please fill out your special All Soul’s envelopes with all the names of your deceased loved ones along with your offering. We pray over these envelopes all month long. Bring the envelopes to the office.
  2. Parish Youth Ministry: The next EDGE meeting is Friday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. Come help guide a young person as a Volunteer.
  3. The annual  CWL Christmas Bazaar is only Saturday, November 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come, shop early for Christmas!
  4. A first announcement that 2017 Tax Receipt donations must be given to the church by December 31, 2017.  All donations given after January 1 will be counted in the 2018 Tax Receipt mailed in 2019.
  5. The Archdiocese asks us to please sign and mail the yellow petition cards to P.M. Justin Trudeau at the back of the church in support of women’s work through the Development office for Caritas Canada.

  4. First Friday Mass is November 3 at 7:30 p.m. and is offered for Vocations. All Night Adoration begins at 9:00 p.m.
  5. The Knights of Columbus host the annual Fall Dinner Dance on Saturday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. Please check the bulletin for more menu and details. Please see a Knight to buy a ticket!

  3. Little Souls Prayer Group meets Friday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
